UK Policing is committed to having a workforce that is representative of the communities it serves. To support this, every police force in the UK has committed to addressing gender imbalances that exist within their middle management teams by 2025. It is also important that gender inequalities within policing are removed, therefore UK policing has further committed to address and remove the sexism and misogyny, where it exists, within police culture.
